Nutrient load of Vistula Iagoon with Pregolia River’s discharge

Summary:
Vistula Lagoon represents an estuarial ecosystem of the Baltic Sea. Water catchment basically consists of Pregolia River’s catchment area. From point sources, agricultural and forest lands there’s nitrogen and phosphorus entry into Lagoon. This entry was investigated by Fyris ТЗ model, taking into account land-use pattern, stream flow parameters and biogenic discharge from different lands. The model was calibrated for the Pregolia River in 2001-2005 using time series of biogenic measurement data.
